Quartz Powder & Sand
Quartz is the most abundant mineral on Earth, found in nearly every geological environment and as a component in almost all rock types. It is often the dominant mineral, making up over 98% of certain rocks, and it exhibits the greatest variety in terms of colors, forms, and varieties. This diversity is due to quartz’s widespread occurrence and abundance.
While quartz is the most common form of silicon dioxide (SiO2), it is not the only one. There are at least eight other known structures of SiO2. Quartz and these other minerals are polymorphs of silicon dioxide, forming a group known as the Quartz or Silica Group. Unlike quartz, the other members of this group are rare to extremely rare on Earth’s surface and are stable only under high temperatures, high pressures, or both. These minerals have unique structures but share the same chemical composition, which is why they are referred to as polymorphs, meaning “many forms.”
Our range of chemical sand products, including Silica Sand, is highly competitive. Silica Sand, also known as silica powder, is uniform in size and widely used for various applications such as water filtration, foundry work, painting, water treatment, and plastering. The product is fine-textured and sourced from reliable vendors, ensuring top-notch quality. We are recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of Silica Sand and Powder.
